So, you want to monetize your website with Google Adsense? Well, as always it’s always started with the Joining step. This post is here to review how to join Adsense and things you need to do and know within the steps. Here we go..
1. Live and Operating Website
Okay, this one, is a MUST. Notice the caps? Coz it’s gonna be useless for you to go to Google Adsense website hitting Sign Up Now button, start to filling the application form until “almost complete” and then in the end you finally realized that without a website you ‘ve already have first, you ‘ll gonna stuck to the same page for eternity. So built one first.
2. Program Policies Compliant
When you ‘ve got the first part ready, up and live – your next would be making sure of your site’s compliance with Adsense Policies. It covers whole aspects regarding the program such as Invalid Clicks and Impressions, Encouraging Clicks, Content Guidelines, Copyrighted Material, Webmaster Guidelines, Traffic Sources and others to Product-Specific Policies. Make sure you understand ‘em wholly – and check back to your site, is it compliance yet?
3. Signing Up.
At this point, you should be ready with you live and policies’ compliant site. Well, then it’s time for you to sign up. Click here to go to Adsense Sign up form. Fill in the application form, which divided into 3 main sections of information : Website Information, Contact Information, Policies. Complete it with your details. From here, it’s the waiting time for the approval email. Usually it will got to your inbox somewhere between 24 to 72 hours after application submission.
4. Application Rejected!
Alright, chill out. No need to be so hysterical. Sites got rejected, so it’s no biggie and it surely isn’t your end of Adsense journey. It’s not. But if YOU are the one that end the journey, you ‘re giving up TOO soon. Here’re things you need to do :
1. Send email asking Why.
You need to make sure your site IS compliant and not breaching the Policies before sending this type of email. If your site actually doesn’t compliance and got rejected, yet you’re still sending them email asking why, then it’s useless.2. Respond to Rejection email.
With details of modifications you ‘ve made. This tpe of email should be send when you failed at one of or some of the required things in its Policies – and then you ‘ve revised them.3. Resubmit Application with other website of yours.
Pretty self explanatory. Simple and easy. Now get your self a live website that compliance with the Program policies and signing up!
